Appointment & Patient Arrival Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. Drop-off appointments allow you to bring your pet to us at a time which works best for you and leave him/her with us for a few hours for care. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. When the doctor is finished, he or she will give you a call to go over the findings or diagnosis and give you discharge instructions. You can then make payment when you come to pick up your pet.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that your pet be current on vaccinations when coming to our hospital—unless of course you are bringing them to see us for vaccinations.
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, pets may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other animals. This is one of the reasons we ask that you have your dog properly controlled on a leash and your cat in a carrier while in our waiting area.
